Hi Ricardo,

Based on the specifications of the B&W DM603 S3 speaker, the WiiM Ultra and Vibelink Amp combination should handle it very well.
Give it a try, and we’d love to hear about your experience. Thank you!

Hi.
I wanted to try that same Ultra + Vibelink setup with some Kef LS50 Meta. Has anyone tried it and can tell me how it responds? Thanks.

I own a pair of LS50 Meta. I tried it with VibeLink. If you have a subwoofer and utilize the WiiM Ultra's high-pass filter (bass management) to relieve the KEFs of subbass, the VibeLink is strong enough to drive them nicely. If you try to run the LS50 Metas full range with the VibeLink, you'll be fine at mid to lower volumes. It will start running short of breath driving LS50 Metas full range to high volume (85+dB at a seated listening distance of at 10 feet/3 meters away in a medium to large room).

Good questions and answers. I am in the process of putting a system together a system for my office. I will use a Kef MetaQ1, Vibelink and Ultra as well. Amazon is the only place I can find the Vibelink. Crutchfield and Audio Advice don't show in their inventory.

I have already received my meta LS50s and have connected them to the Vibelink Amp.
My room is 18m2 and I am really surprised at the sound quality (listening distance of 3 meters)
In my case I don't have a subwoofer but my impression is that the amplifier drives the speakers without any problem at high volumes, and it doesn't get hot.

Off topic but anyway: Why sit so far away? Try 1.8-2 m or even 1,5 m if you’re bold. Much less room interaction, and you can turn the volume down 3-6 dB too.

In my case, I like to have a broad visual perspective of the space and I don't want to put my sofa in the center of the room ;)
