Making the Ultra more ” Musical ” - easy external DIY

Not trying to imply that. It was just a tongue in cheek tangent.

That’s right because Ariston copied Thorens and good Ivor ran away with it or something like that.
really an ariston (rd11 from memory)... or to consider that thorens was the instigator of all the suspended turntables in the world... which I don't think ;-)
anyway... no problem not important
;-)

Thorens saw the small and light suspended AR turntable and created their TD 150 on that basis, The Thorens was expensive in UK but again easy to reverse engineer (again), but there was one before the AR too in the US. Not important, but interesting.

There may have been others with this suspended approach to the 150...before the 150...I don't know....it's not a patent either ;-)

Came to think of it: Putting an old turntable in front of the Ultra will sultent make it more «musical».
But now lets go back to the usual programming!

This is why I have connected the Ultra directly to my Magnat RV2 tube amp. Does this qualify?
PS: Using Netgear switches built before 2008 for Tidal HiRes streaming clearly adds warmth to my sound.
which network switches have you tried??

and you're comparing tidal to which other services??
