I've seen some measurements of this module, results were impressive.3E AUDIO 260-2-29A PFFB Stereo amplifier Module
The 3E Audio PFFB module is a high-performance Class D amplifier that can operate in stereo (BTL) or mono (PBTL) mode. It is based on the use of TPA3255 amplifier chips allowing it to develop an important power of 2x225W or 1x250W under 4Ω.www.audiophonics.fr
Something to add in the Wiim Amp Pro or Amp Pro Plus. For those interested in technical details of PFFB for 3255:
Would be awesome if it has those mono block I have can be utilized.... and a pre-amp out
... with a headphone section/socket
True sweet chick lol human has no satisfaction in life there will always be something that they always want or need. Even they give you 6 girlfriends you still not be happyI don't know if it's just human nature but I see this in other arenas too - when a new product comes out, there are more comments about what it doesn't do or could have done better than there are comments complimenting it. Guess we're just an unhappy bunch at our core
Don't forget a Phono In.... and a pre-amp out
Except that this (PFFB) is something TI published for the chip that WiiM is using. They could have implemented, but chose not to, for some reason. Perhaps it’s a couple of bucks more parts?I don't know if it's just human nature but I see this in other arenas too - when a new product comes out, there are more comments about what it doesn't do or could have done better than there are comments complimenting it. Which bigger manufacturer has already implemented PFFB with the 3255?Except that this (PFFB) is something TI published for the chip that WiiM is using. They could have implemented, but chose not to, for some reason. Perhaps it’s a couple of bucks more parts?
Given the excellent performance of WiiM’s streamers which has driven sales, you’d think they’d want the best performance from their Amp, as well.
Is it possible to measure residual noise?A note on ADC added.
TBH I lack ideas what else I could measure.
