New Ultra. Love it , one question

So I set my new and first Ultra, I have had pluses and pros for a while. Love them all
But when I hook another unit , a pro up in conjunction with the ultra the resolution drops to cd quality, even though I am playing songs 24 bit 192, any suggestions.?
