WiiM Ultra paired for Bluetooth input from computer; streaming audio produces no audio from WiiM and amp. Ultra screen shows streaming and when I changed input to another source (toslink from CD player) to test, when I shut off bluetoooth input, screen said 'music stopped.'
Cannot figure this out.

Thanks for reading, and thanks for any suggestions.

Have you set the appropriate audio output in the app? You'll find that in the device settings. The little gear icon on the devices page.

Thanks!

Yes, I have checked the output (I'm using line out). I know that is working -- I have not changed it and I switched source to toslink (from CD player) input and it is working fine.

No -- sorry I was not clear. Still not working. I was just trying to say that I had checked the output setting by not changing it, but changing to another input, that worked.

Sorry for the rudimentary question,

Is the volume between the PC and WiiM via Bluetooth appropriate?
Also, is it muted?

Can you connect a Bluetooth receiver other than the WiiM to the PC and see if it outputs audio?
(Or connect your phone to the WiiM via Bluetooth and check if it works.)

Did a reset and started over. Same result attempting to stream from computer. Checked volume. All seems okay. See no indication anything is muted. Also tried streaming radio station from phone. Same result. Submitted help ticket.

Thanks for suggestions.

What about Bluetooth from your phone to the Ultra?

Yes, I tried that. Ultra screen shows what I am streaming, but still no audio from earphones or speakers driven by my amp. Feeding amp with line out from Ultra and have line out selected (or headphones when trying that.

Is the input switch on the amplifier set to line in?

Again, thank you.

Yes -- in my case, "AUX." And I know that is working as I am able to get audio out when using CD player via toslink input to Ultra and then line out to AUX on amp.

Sorry to keep asking this, but is this what the Ultra screen and the WiiM app playing screen look like?

This is my phone (Xiaomi 13T pro) connected to Ultra via Bluetooth and playing Amazon music.

In the playing screen of the WiiM app, Line-out is selected.

Interesting:
Tried to use the Ulta bluetooth out to a different smart phone (while the Ultra was using computer bluethooth in to stream music from radio station on-line broadcast. Could not do it. The second smart phone was in pairing mode, but I could not get the Ultra to pair with it. Perhaps the Ultra will pair with only one bluetooth device at a time?

In my experience, all WiiMs can be paired with multiple devices. I have paired 5 devices, as I recall. However, it is not possible to connect (output) to more than one receiver at the same time.

Also, Bluetooth input and Bluetooth output cannot be used simultaneously.

Thanks.
As to your last comment, I was afraid that was it. I can understand that -- I guess the outgoing signal and incoming bluetooth UHF radio signals would interfere with each other. Too bad - an inherent limitation on usefullness of bluetooth. :(

There is one thing I forgot to mention.

As a side note, Ultra supports Auracast for LE Audio. I have not tested this, but I believe we can connect to two Auracast-enabled Bluetooth speakers at the same time and have stereo playback.
