Playing flac Files on Amp Pro

Do you mean using the amp pro’s usb output into an external DAC/headphone amp, or just playing files from usb attached storage to the speakers? I use my Ultra most of the time and it happily plays FLAC files from the usb attached drive and EQ/peq/rc are fully functional playing out over usb to my linn amp.
The ultra is a different animal. What I have is an Amp Pro.

I don't want to do anything over the network. I don't do streaming. All I want to do is play flac music files I have placed on a USB flash drive, through my amp pro to a pair of speakers. Basically. I am using the amp pro as a preamp and amp to drive local speakers. However, I Do want to be able to adjust sound to compensate hearing limitations we have. That requires EQ since WiiM devices do not have base/treble/loudness controls. All I can say at this point is a WiiM tech says the USB input cannot currently access EQ. If it does, I sure can't find any way to do it. If I click Browse and select USB as the input, the EQ option disappears, no matter what I do next.
The link in the post you quoted tells you how to use EQ for the USB input.

On the device screen, select your amp Pro. Then go to the Browse screen, and select USB as input from the bottom of the screen, or under home music share where it will appear as WiiM amp pro:usb disk. Select a track to play, then select the play bar to go into the full Now Playing screen. Select the three dot menu on the right, then EQ. WiFi will show as selected in the top right, but as said, that’s a catch all for all local and streaming service media, including the usb drive. Choose either geq or peq and adjust to your preference. Those settings will stay for all the aforementioned sources under the “WiFi” umbrella.

Conversely, go into EQ in your device settings, make sure wi-fi is selected in the top row and again set geq/peq as required. Then select something to play.

WiiM will have correctly said that there isn’t a separate EQ settings page for usb specifically, but it sounds like they didn’t explain that “wi-fi” covers that as well as the other media sources.

Not if you can use the EQ function when playing flac files via the USB input port. If I try to do that on my Amp Pro the EQ function disappears.
Have you followed the steps I posted above for my Amp Pro, as shown in the video?

Can you reciprocate by similarly detailing the steps you took, perhaps with a video as well?

I have just connected a USB stick into my Amp. If I browse to USB Media Library and play a track the Amp uses the "Ethernet" input source to play it. If you change EQ for the Ethernet source it adds EQ to the track played from USB. It really is as simple as that.
