I really love the WiiM Amp so far. Most music I listen with the Amp is using Plexamp + Chromecast to WiiM Amp.

A native Plex Integration would be highly appreciated. Integrated in the WiiM Home App and additionally as Plexamp compatible player in the network since listening to music with Plexamp is way more fun.

I would absolutely beta test this feature.

I must say, the Plex source UI via the WiiM app has come a long way since its launch and navigates damn well. Additionally, play data is now sent back to your server / scrobbled.

At this point it is very close to a full replacement for Plexamp.

Does it support radio station, guest dj and sonic adventure now then?

I still don't see the point of mimicking the existing Plexamp functionality in the WiiM Home app. Why not just implement endpoint functionality so WiiM can focus on other aspects in their app...

It probably takes two to tango for that and Plex may have other priorities

Yes that would be the main hurdle to overcome, but Elan (Plex co-founder) made it clear a while ago that they would love to work together.

Yeah, as you’d expect, I’m aware of that but that doesn’t mean the resources are available to do it.

Plex definitely seems strapped for resources much of the time. Their client support list is outrageously long and their product development has been shifting away from power users to more explicit revenue generation.

I need to be in the WiiM app to link additional rooms, anyway, so no big issue for me to browse there while at home. Only time I'm in Plexamp now is to download albums for mobile listening.

Radio Stations, yes.

Guessing no for guest DJ and Sonic adventure. I've used the former once, which was cool, but latter I have not - I liked sonic sage while tidal was still integrated.

I don't see any statioins listed and if I choose a track or album there is no radio option

You may be right that there's limited radio station functionality. I hadn't dug in because I'm an album listener but here's all I see under "Stations"

I see Recent Playlists and Stations underneath that if I swipe up
I just figured it out. There is a limit on how many items it will show and as I have several other "Recent" entries it is lost off the bottom and you can't scroll any further to see it ( I suspect the list is a finite number)

I discovered this by connecting to my other back plex library that I rarely use and there were the stations you mentioned though a pretty poor useless list. I do hope we get it as a Plex endpoint soon because so much functionality is lost at the moment
