What do you consider jitter sounds like?

I am not focusing on any particular parameter. My point is that 2 measurements - SINAD and Jitter - are not enough to describe a playback device sound characteristics. It’s like saying that in a given car a good 0-60MPH time defines a sports car - it doesn’t.

Nobody is doing that. Just making a little fun comparing the cost of different equipment that basically do the same.

Just like cars with totally different prices that all "just" take you from A to B.

Not sure if that comment was directed at me or not. But I wasn't trying to throw any shade! Just a reflection of my own appetite/purchasing power for gear. I can't personally fathom spending that amount on individual components.

It’s the journey, not the destination. Even though most cars take one to B from A, they don’t do it the same way.

When I connect Ultra with the Fiio k11 dac by usb, then RCA from amplifier should be connected to dac or Ultra?

I actually prefer the ultra analog out over the k11. But I think I prefer the k11 r2r over the ultra.
Try the ultra direct to the amp too, let us know!

Modi E: Noticeable upgrade — more presence, space, and warmth.

Mojo 2: Big leap — more depth, realism and exceptional detail retrieval.

Listening on a pair of Genelec 8040B + Rel T/5x sub and also on the Beyerdynamic DT 1990 Pro. The jump from Wiim Ultra to Modi E is worth it. Mojo 2, though, is the way to go in my case. Having a great time with this setup

Indeed the Ultra analog out is not juicy. I prefer it that way to my little analog input headphone amp and Beyerdynamic DT 1770 Pro, EQ applied in the Ultra of course.
Flat music make flat listening experience.
