Question about the WiiM trigger

Does the trigger send a 12v output constantly while music is playing, or is it more of a "one burst for on, one burst for off" type operation?

It is a maintained 12 vdc output, not a momentary pulse.

Edit for clarity:
12 vdc is output via the 2.5mm 2 pole socket when the Wiim is on. When the Wiim is in standby or off, zero voltage is output.
