The volume slider in the WHA can be adjusted from 0 to 100. What are the units? Is the displayed value the percentage of the configured line out level or volume limit?

I'm asking because I'm wondering how hard I am driving the power amp that my WPP is connected to.

Welcome.

% of the max output allowed.
The actual max may be reduced from the volume limit etc. options, but it's still a 0-100 scale.

Is it a dB scale? For example in LMS the scale is 0.5dB per unit IIRC so 90 is -5dB.

For the volume limiter it has been shown that it is -0.6 dB per unit, so 90 would be -6 dB in this case.

I didn't even try to check if the same is true for the main volume control and if it's the same across all WiiM devices.

Sounds like it probably is then.
