Came up with some ideas I would like to see as options for that screen

Why don't you fight for persistent overload indicators, or even a numerical true peak indicator that would really have an important use?
(all the more so when we can manipulating DSPs like here)

@WiiM Team You may also consider to remove the background image of the home screen. That would make it look more professional.

We still have this toy background on the Ultra home screen.

I think it is time to get the look and feel updated, across all pages, to be consistent and clean.

A professional looking screen layout would enhance the feeling of a high-end device.

Yesssss maybe it's time to get the GUI on point, now that the constant flow of new features is starting to dwindle a bit (let's not forget about Plex though )

This thread is about the screen of the Ultras but enhancements are of course not exclusive.

Sorry for the delay... It's simply less depressing to see of an out-of-control, off-scale thumping needle.
That's why i do not use the current VU visualization.

If I'm not mistaken, the Ultra was released in June/July 2024...and since then, a FFT has been requested, constantly...a great classic (even if hardly used)

and VU meters (relevant)...
