Right now, Music Assistant works pretty well with WiiM devices via the Squeezelite integration, but it limits sync to work with only other Squeezelite devices (and there's some odd behavior if you try to mix Squeezelite sync and native WiiM/Linkplay sync.)
The Music Assistant folks are developing a new protocol: Sendspin. What's attractive about it is that you can run a client on an ESP32 device, in a web browser, on a Mac/PC, etc. and it provides sync. It'd be awesome if WiiM devices also included Sendspin support so I can get sync across all my devices.
