I can't use Spotify with my WiiM Ultra, or rather, I can't enable audio output on the WiiM Ultra app. The latest update only plays on my iPhone. Thanks for any help you can give me. Silvano

Please translate and post your question in English, so not everybody has to do it, but just one person. I'm sure that many active community members are willing to help. The mod was faster.

To use Spotify with the WiiM you must either use their proprietary Spotify Connect protocol or Google Cast (previously known as Chromecast built-in) or Bluetooth from your phone to the Ultra (which is the least preferable method). It's not always easy to switch between options, in particular for those new to this topic.

Cases have been reported where Google Cast when enabled on the WiiM Ultra would prevent Spotify Connect from working. You could provide some screenshots of how you try to start Spotify playback. Since the icons and control buttons are all the same this should work with any language setting.

Hello Silvano,
there is no special app for the WiiM Ultra.
There's only one app which is used to contol any kind of WiiM devices. It Is called Wiim Home (WHA for short). There is an IOS and an Android version available.
Do you have issues with the iOS or the Android version of WHA?

I have problems with IOS

Were you able to connect to Ultra from the Spotify app using the steps described here?

Does the Spotify App open when you select Spotify as the source in the WHA?
In the WHA tab device. Ensure your WiiM Ultra is selected, then tab Browse and select Spotify from Music services.

Or just open the Spotify app on your phone, tablet or PC. Then select the WiiM as the connected device.

The Spotify option in the WiiM Home App don't really have any purpose.
