That greatly depends on your specific setup. Which WiiM devices do you have?

If you feel the bass is too strong, I suggest running RoomFit with just the subwoofer to flatten its response. An 80Hz crossover should be fine.

I think the WiiM Sub does a great job at extending the lower bass naturally. If one is looking for a bass effects machine perhaps not the unit to use. I think that WiiM never claimed that.

I wasn't really looking for a bass effects machine. I just couldn't really tell when the sub was on or off. Basically I didn't have enough gain. It's much better now thanks to the awesome support in this forum.
