Subwoofer sound between radio station tracks

Hello- playing WFMT radio on TuneIn and when the track switches I hear a near full volume sound/note/tone from just the sub (lasts about 2 seconds).

Sub out directly to sub and tuned with RoomFit and synced with speakers.

Any ideas?

Sorry, no idea, just a question for you to confirm: This is happening with TuneIn only, not with any other source?

It seems to have resolved itself, not sure.

My other issue is subwoofer volume is higher on radio stations vs Tidal/ Spotify

Is there a way to have separate sub levels for each app?

That's so unlikely I would like to call it impossible. Can you tell us more about your subwoofer and the rest of your setup?

If the streaming quality or the masters used are different between services, the easiest way to deal with it is EQ, not changing the subwoofer level. You can save different EQ settings with different presets. And the EQ settings can be accessed directly from the now playing screen.

ok thanks, I think it's the radio stations are boosting bass so when I mute, the sub is still "talking"
