Tablet as a permanent display

Hi,

So I'd like to have a permanent screen close to my main setup. I'm thinking about an android tablet with a 10 or 11-inch screen (BF is around the corner) and constantly on when I play music.
I believe the Wiim Home App would be fine for that but maybe I'm missing something so I ask you guys.

=> Do you think such a setup would work fine enough?

I may additionnally add some Home Assistant Dashboard or other thing. Nevertheless, I miss some screen to look at while playing and the Ultra isn't big nor usefull enough.

I have a couple of android tablets I use as such displays.
My main issue is that I can't set an unlimited screen timeout, so they go black after 30 mins, the max I can choose
Why!!

(Yes, it's probably some attempt to save electricity. I reckon my solar can just about manage to charge a few tablets.)

Choose custom timeouts for screen lock. Toggle between system & custom timeouts.
