The competition doesn't sleep

In my case, most of my AirPlay usage is for background music, and in particular to multiple devices and speakers in different rooms, and floors in the house. One recent use involved my WiiM Amp in one ground floor room, a RIVA Arena speaker in the ground floor hallway, another RIVA Arena on the first floor landing, and another RIVA Arena in a second floor room. All played without any issues, and as far as I could determine, they all seemed to be synchronised as I walked from room to room.

I was hoping to be able to do this sort of thing using the WiiM DLNA Casting feature, but can't do it with the current beta version.

Edit: For those not familiar with RIVA, here are the Amazon links for RIVA Arena, and RIVA Festival speakers. These are the ones that I would like to use with WiiM DLNA Casting.
A bit off subject here -
Regarding Riva Arena speakers. Be aware that Riva seem to have been resurrected and are selling upgraded versions of the Arenas on Amazon US and have firmware updates available on their own website. I've updated my 2 Arenas and posted links etc on a few threads on Reddit regarding the updates.

Do these firmware updates offer any benefits over the current stable firmware?

Can you post the link here please.

Good point... if your set up is working as it should, then maybe not much?

Mine were playing fine, but as a Google Cast user I was aware that for the last few months they were not showing up correctly in the Google Home app making some controls more difficult to use. They hadn't had an update (to 12060? FW version) since 2020.
The updates have solved the problem. I note that on the US Amazon site they're promising further OTA updates (presumably once you've upgraded via the downloads?)

I note that you're an Airplay user (presumably as an iPhone user?) so everything may have been fine for you?
I'd at least download the files and maybe keep them safe, in case things go downhill?

Either way, it's great seeing these great sounding speakers getting updates! Two Arenas set up as a stereo pair are fantastic 🙂

I have 4 off Arenas, and 3 off Festivals, as well as 1 off RIVA S, and 1 off RIVA Turbo X, they are great speakers.

My Arenas, and Festivals are on 12060.141.10100, what is the new version?
