Tidal keps stopping playback despite stable connection

Is anyone else experiencing constant playback interruptions on Tidal? I keep getting network connectivity error messages in the Tidal app, yet everything else—Spotify, other streaming services—works perfectly fine. The issue happens across Bluetooth, wired headphones, and even Tidal Connect on Android. It's been going on for about a week, and adjusting battery or background settings hasn’t helped.

If I delete the app and instal it again it works for a while but the problem comes back after a while.

@Fralle
The guys from Tidal know the issues on Android and say they are working on it. An app with version 2.147 is coming and hopefully will solve the problems.

I wish they would have told med that when I wrote to them. Then I wouldn't have had to change all these settings back and forth.

Big thanks for telling me!

Finally I've found the response I've got from Tidal:
"Thank you for your patience while our team is investigating the issue with TIDAL Connect that you experienced. We believe we have resolved the issue that will be rolled out in the coming weeks with our Android update 2.147. You can check the Google Play Store to see if an update is available."

Great! Did you also experience problems with the music stopping when you used the app without Connect? Cause I have the problem in the car and on the go also.

Not noticed for an easy reason: No mobile use 😉
When I use integrated Tidal in WiiM or another streamer everything is fine. The ios app on the tablet also works perfect with TC. It is only the Android app with the Connect feature what causes problems.

Well hopefully it is the same problem for me and the next update will fix this.

Tidal on Android Auto acted totally erratic when I last tried it a couple of days ago. Some albums would start, some would not at all.

Not sure if this was on Adndroid app version 2.146 or even the previous one.

I don't know what is going on but the support just tells me to clear cache and reinstal. If this is not fixed soon I'll guess I have to go back to Qobuz:(

Version 2.147 is not out, yet. Might be worth the wait.

It's not been dropping out for me but sometimes (a lot actually) the now playing shows the wrong artist/album in a play list.

I hope the update arrives soon.

It worked for a couple of hours for me but now it is back to dropping out. What Iv'e noticed is that the now playing media player disappears from the lock screen and/or drop down menu every time the music stops. It has been weeks now and I'm about to give up on Tidal and go back to Qobuz. So tired of switching platforms...

This happens on the Ultra sometimes but that is not the biggest problem, I would say Tidal Connect still works most of the time. But using wired headphones or Bluetooth is pretty much hopeless now. Biggest problem on Ultra is that Tidal Connect stops playing so that I have to pause/use volume on the Ultra app instead of Tidal. That problem occurred pretty much the same time I started having dropouts.
