No, you don't have to.Do I have to turn it off after a listening session?
Is the Never option not just available in the beta desktop app?You can set the time in the Standby Mode screen, including an option for Never.
Pretty sure that's the amps.Is the Never option not just available in the beta desktop app?
ThanksNo, at least also on Android with Ultra and Pro Plus.
Ah, close but no cigarPretty sure that's the amps.
Amp Pro and Amp Ultra have it too.Pretty sure that's the amps.
Yes. Amps. Plural.Amp Pro and Amp Ultra have it too.![]()
Isn’t that a given? Standby only occurs after a period of inactivity I.e. when nothing’s playing. If you’re playing anything, internet radio or not, it’s not inactive so won’t enter standby. As a point of clarification, no WiiM will go into Standby mode if your listening session is using an internet streaming source (e.g. internet radio). The WiiM will keep playing forever even if you have it set to go into Standby mode after x minutes.

If the question is about “after a listening session” then continuing to stream internet radio isn’t “after”…You are not answering the question, Do I have to turn it off after a listening session?
My answer is, it depends on what your source is for your listening session.

I'm pretty sure that originally the option "Never" was not available at least in EU countries in the Android (and possibly iOS) app. This has changed at one point in time, but I cannot remember when.Amp Pro and Amp Ultra have it too.![]()
Just remember that the WiiM Pro Plus is never fully "off" - even in standby mode - unless you cut it from the power supply. So, it depends on what your concern is.Do I have to turn it off after a listening session?
Yeah, I looked into it a bit, but I don't know when this started adding. I was going to ask WiiM AI, but he hasn't come back yet.I'm pretty sure that originally the option "Never" was not available at least in EU countries in the Android (and possibly iOS) app. This has changed at one point in time, but I cannot remember when.
