Not shure where on wiim to ask

Here it goes

New wharfedale diamond 12.1i is really good in some areas, better than my other speakers

Wanna improve sound even more with better bass control and general better sound in most areas

Own a wiim amp pro with upgraded feet, power cabel, generally quality cable

wiim amp ultra should sound a little better and more power + a screen

vibelink + wiim amp ultra = more flexibility but same amp chip tpa 3255

If i buy the combo i would have liked it wiim made it so you can disable one of the 2 volumes knobs (also if you would buy a wiim pro plus)

I need room correction, so just the amp is no option do to how roomfit adjust the sound = i just need room correction

With the combo what would give the lowest noise ? Volume on the streamer at max and adjust the sound on the amp or the opposite

Amp max volume and adjust sound from the streamer

what sounds best, the wim amp ultra or the vibelink, wiim ultra combo ?

For an upgraded power cable is aliexpress the only place ? (42 euros + what ever shipping is)

It's not about if it makes a difference, it's about finding something that isn't out of stock and use to cost around 120 euros (audioquest)

You can effectively disable the ultra's volume knob by setting fixed volume output.
The vibelink's volume knob is much, much nicer to use than the ultra's.
However, as the vibelink volume can only be changed by the knob then it's almost certainly more convenient to set and forget the vibelink to a specific volume (which may be max) and control the volume from the ultra in its various ways.
Can't say I notice a noise difference either way.
Also can't say I can tell the ultra+vibelink apart from the amp ultra, so it probably does come down to box count and functionality.
If you get the ultra+vibelink you will want a trigger cable.
I do think both are an improvement on the amp pro, with the level of improvement being very significant in my main setup, but less pronounced in others. For me, it was more about the clarity and overall engagement of the music.

I tried to look at amps costing 3 times as much as a wiim amp pro with a discount

I will get more power but most i want is better sound, improved bass control

I vould like a fixed output on both or just to be able to use the amp as a power amp even bridged would be nice and more imput 2-3 digital in 1-2 analog in and 2 digital out and 1 or 2 analog in

A smart way of connecting the streamer to the amp so all inputs can benefit from room correction, eq

a subwoofer is not = better bass control but in most cases more bass
However, the main motivation for a adding a sub shouldn't be to have 'more' bass at all - but to get a smoother bass response, and to extend the usable response to the lowest octave (or two). A bonus is, as @Mr Ee suggested, that a sub can help smaller speakers play louder cleanly.

Key for all this is proper placement and integration, however.

It seems to me that people often underestimate how difficult it can be to solve acoustic interference issues (e.g. SBIR notches/nulls/dips) without carefully placed and integrated subs. These kinds of acoustic issues can be very audible, and they can't be solved by just replacing electronics.
On that note, even full-range speakers often benefit from subs because full-range speakers are actually more sensitive to SBIR - and subs can help mitigate the effects of SBIR.
(One exception may be full-range designs that feature cardioid bass - like offered by D&D, Kii, etc...)

Does this still apply to the wiim pro plus and wiim ultra ? I don't have this for my amp pro

fixed volume so you don't have to use boithe or a fixed volume on the streamer

Like doing a kind of home theater pass thru, disable volume control (don't have to deside volume and which one you use for the main volume)
Fixed volume doesn't really make sense for the amps as the amp itself can be the source where you can't control that volume separately (e.g. Spotify et al).

Im trying fixed volume from the streamer (i know you can't adjust volume using the home app)

fixed form the am like you can do on some ultra compact amps like a topping la90 would be cool

fixed volume is atm only the ultra streamer (nice that it has that feature)

It limits you from adjusting volume in the app, phone tablet

I must admit i don't like the volume knob on the streamer, it's not smooth, it's like touching something, not to good,
vibelink is perfect smooth not much volume at 12 o'clcok, se pictures of the fixed volume to see how loud i have it

Wharfedale Diamond 12.1i the new model, 2 o'clock volume is good 12 o'clcok is a good alround volume for my spakers 8 ohm min 4 ohm and measured to bed 85.5db (the old version, the new i are improved in the bass)

Compared to my amp pro it sounds smoother less digital

Cable between the amp and streamer optical, 15 or 30cm ?

where do i find 12 v trigger in the same length ?

Yes, but fixed volume doesn't really make sense for the amps as the amp itself can be the source where you can't control that volume separately (e.g. Spotify et al).

NOO (not in my case)

I won't have roomfit if i connect my sources my amp

Fixed volume is when you wanna use the amp as a power amp only (but the amp doesn't have it)
