Voice Remote 2

Kinda disappointing. I think I prefer the light, durable, no-nonsense plastic remote... just needs some added functionality / extra buttons etc that many have already suggested

A bit pricey, too. Esp if the functionality is the same. 🤔

It’s rechargeable so you don’t need to pay for replacement batteries over time, just the electricity to recharge it.

Fair enough. I guess some people might like that.

But for a remote, replaceble batteries are ok imo. maybe even preferred in most cases. Esp cos you can use rechargeable ones... 🤷‍♂️

They want to be Apple so badly (but I think it looks good)
Such a boring, uninspired design. 1000% apple tv ripoff - complete with the impractical side-mounted voice button!! 😅

These kinds of devices look cheap + horrible once the soft aluminum gets a couple dings... also, ZERO of the community suggested functionality has been added. Really lazy.

Wish people would snap out of this boring phase of industrial design that the whole world seems to be stuck in!! 😔 there are other ways to design products that are more functional and stylish, people!! 🤦‍♂️

I must be the odd one out on this forum, I have only used the remote once, that was when I paired it when new. I always use the app either on my phone or one of my 2 tablets. I would find it hard to get excited by the prospect of a new one especially if it looks "remotely" like an apple product. 😂😂

How nice would it be when the microphone on this remote could be used for room calibration...
Wiim should know the caracteristics of this one better than any other microphone.
Or would that be the Wiim Voice remote 2 Ultra

Mine is still in the original packaging. ;)
I thought mine might be handy to switch between inputs on the Amp but I was wrong. The shared LED colours for inputs make it very difficult to know which one you've switched to 🤣. The app is much easier.
