I think that the remote should increase/decrease the volume in increments of 5, with finer alterations made using the slider in the WiiM Home App.
5?I think that the remote should increase/decrease the volume in increments of 5, with finer alterations made using the slider in the WiiM Home App.
All of them.5?
Which WiiM is it?
Indeed, it can't be set to 82 either. As you say, Amp and Amp Pro do.
However, they do not actually jump by 2, but always in multiples of 2. It is impossible to set the volume to 81% on the remote...
82 should be able to do it...Indeed, it can't be set to 82 either.
I think that perhaps you misunderstood my post. I was saying that I would like the remote to operate in increments of 5, and not the 3 or occasionally 2 that they currently do.But @QuarryHunslet's remote seems to be specially Moderators designed.
No it jumps from 80 to 83 then 86 then 88.82 should be able to do it...

Understood. Sorry.I think that perhaps you misunderstood my post. I was saying that I would like the remote to operate in increments of 5, and not the 3 or occasionally 2 that they currently do.
you are right. And for some reason 14,16 are skipped too.No it jumps from 80 to 83 then 86 then 88.
I get 12, 14, 17, 20, 22you are right. And for some reason 14,16 are skipped too.
I’d like mine increasing volume in a Fibonacci sequenceI get 12, 14, 17, 20, 22
Yes, I made a mistake; 16 and 18 are skipped.I get 12, 14, 17, 20, 22
....24, 27, 30, 32 ?I’d like mine increasing volume in a Fibonacci sequence
I just tried a very unscientific test using pink noise and an external microphone plugged into my phone measuring SPL at various volume settings. It seems the volume change per step increases at lower levels.Quite possibly not, it actually sound like more, either way its too high.
