The mix of a studio recording has to be a bit of a compromise. It may sound fantastic on the studio monitors but, it will get played on all sorts of equipment, headphones, car systems, cheap portable stereos etc. to see how it sounds before the mix is finalised.
So I don’t think a ‘one eq for all’ ever works in the real world. Almost every lister will adjust their equipment to try and get the sound to their liking.
There does seem to be more reverberation on the recordings in the stripped out cinema, so they certainly don't need any more. When you play them back you don't want to add more reverberation though![]()
I feel that you should find a phylosophers forum.i believe at the moment so-called Ai is not actually Ai, but is just 'regurgitating' existing content in a 'slightly' different form. Once the 'computers' reach a point of 'sentience' and produce original as yet unthought ideas then we will move into a different world.
...if that were possible, I would win the lottery every weekend.that relates to my 'sci fi' idea .. the embedded metadata in the audio track would instruct your equipment how to set EQ, soundstage whatever it may be called to be as close as is reasonably possible to the original sound as engineered by artist or studio so not 'one' EQ but EQ auto adjusted on your equipment .. unless you are @Aquaman then you switch that option off![]()
Every sentence in my head someone else has saidthe big issue at the moment imho. is who 'owns' what .. if Ai creates music tracks based on aquired music data. is that original ? do the original 'artists' get credit bit like when 'sampling' old tunes appeared in music, the new version had to honour the original.
in many peoples views Ai is 'stealing' all our stuff .. well i say Ai i mean bezos, zuker and the gang![]()
Have you ever actually made music with SUNO?@Malc ... 'AI creators' not sure that makes sense .... they pushed the 'create' button.
i just tried free suno on the homepage .. bit of fun but not really my thing.Have you ever actually made music with SUNO?
Creating music with "Custom" is incredibly deep and fascinating.
Creating music exactly as intended is difficult, and that's what makes it so interesting.
I think it's worth trying at least once.![]()

Im not against Ai as a future technolgy, in music, medicine, tech, the arts etc its more about 'who controls it' and their intentions.
As @mrehorst suggested 'monetising' the tech will come very soon, the only reason it looks free at the moment is because 'its' harvesting all the data in the world by encouraging 'us' to use for free. ...
bezos and the boyz are busy bees because they know who ever controls the most data controls the world ... Mwahahaha

I hope we are going to get a sample of what you have made.but listening to what I've made myself is incredibly fun.
A clear sign of the downside of AI - @Wiimer spending less time hereI pay for a Pro Plan subscription.
Even if someone makes a fortune off it or the information I provide gets used elsewhere, I couldn't care less.
The fun of Suno is like building a Plastic model kit. I assemble music using countless prompts.
Listening to music created by others is nice, but listening to what I've made myself is incredibly fun. I've found a great hobby, so came here less often![]()
