What products you'd like to see WiiM produce?

A user forum that @WiiM Team, @RyanWithWiiM read.
Read through, participate in, and fight about over the conference table and group chats.

While it's a user forum, it's also one of the primary places where our teams come to speak with the people who use our products.

Edit: Just making sure I'm clear that whole we're here and reading along, we don't always have the opportunity to jump in and join a discussion.

Regarding the app which really controls the unit, intuitiveness in use is everything! I feel I'm bothering really lovely people on this forum who can do what I could never manage simply to play and add to presets something other than what's on the browse list! Shouldn't everything be available to preset and find quickly again especially if I'm able to cast it in the first place?

Don't try it with me) You can say you have 400+ years. The only thing that matters is what exactly you say. I dont' have 40 years of experience but I have two ears and low-end hi-fi system. I clearly hear the difference between Mini and Pro+ (via DAC) - which you and your fellow contributors denied. I clearly hear the difference between different DACs (for example, delta-sigma and multibit) - which you and your fellow contributors denied. I just want to have an affordable good quality streamer to include to my set up. I didn't ask your permission and opinion. You can keep it to your employer. Thank you.
Blind tested hear the difference?

@RyanWithWiiM Can we please (please) have Native Apple Music integration, a la Spotify and Tidal Connect?

It appears my best shot at full hi res lossless Apple Music through my Ultra, is by connecting a WiiM Mini and having to put up with Airplay downsampling everything.

You can connect an iPhone, or iPad to your Ultra, and get full up to 24-Bit 192 kHz Apple Music.

I could (if I had a spare device), but I want to just use my phone as a remote (like you do with Tidal and Spotify Connect.
Then you won’t be getting Apple Music lossless 24-bit 192kHz through your Ultra. 🤔

I do not get tired to share my solution: 😂
Not high resolution, but CD quality at least!
Get you a FiiO SR11 (cheap, around 110 CHF or equal). It gives you Airplay 1 what means CD quality. From that you can go into active speakers or every DAC. Of course also to the Ultra or other WiiMs too.
Or you go @QuarryHunslet 's way!

I’ve got a spare WiiM Mini I can re purpose for Airplay, it looks like that’s the best option.

The Mini gives Airplay 2, that is even more away from high resolution. In any case the discussions about audible difference are most of the time senseless. 😉

I like to have Vibelink Ultra Amp, without touch screen, but with USB input that plays the max 32bit/768 DSD of the ESS Dac.

Dual mono TI amp with Dual inbuilt high current PSU and dual DAC and Opamp.

In the same smallish alu shell with finned heat sink design.

Well I just set my WiiM Ultra up today after being on the fence about a streamer for a long long time. Thus it's pretty much guaranteed that the Ultra 2 will come along in the New Year lol

Maybe it does, but your Ultra is a great streamer with several setup modalities, and a great performer today, a great performer tomorrow.
