What Sub’s are you using / recommend

Using a WiiM Amp Pro with a pair of Proac Tablette IIs (very old), and a HSU ULS-15 MK2 sub. Best sub I've ever heard.

Any sub recommendations for a sub to pair with my Elac DB63s and WiiM Amp Ultra in a 15m^2 room, readily available in Belgium/EU?
Should I just go for the WiiM Sub Pro for ease of use with the Amp Ultra?

IMHO this is the resource to look at when choosing a sub: Subwoofer Comparison spreadsheet

You can filter and sort based on a large number of attributes, including price, size and CTA-2010 performance (where available).

In EU I'd personally have a look at the following (relatively) affordable subs:
  • SVS SB 1000 Classic (I own this one and am happy with it. It is discontinued officially but usually still available, the current "Pro" version is more expensive.)
  • Polk Audio HTS-12 (review with measurements) or HTS-10 is you want a smaller sub.
  • Klipsch R-121SW (review with measurements)
  • WiiM Sub Pro may be fine too, but there's no measurements available so difficult to say. A differentiating feature is that it can be paired wirelessly with WiiM streamers.
EDIT: Of course the main factor when choosing a sub should be how loud you listen and how low you want them to play. None of the subs I listed will reach very high levels at very low frequencies - this would require much more powerful (and therefore more expensive) subs.

for that the idea of a development dedicated to the simple use of a old wiim mini or pro, to filter, correction, sync, one or two subwoofers would be really well seen..
( (even being very "wiim-friendly", we know nothing about this box, in a demanding, very competitive field with fairly expert brands)

That would be a nice feature, indeed. It seems to be still listed on the (admittedly out-of-date) WiiM Mini roadmap:

Personally, I've been talking about it since I think at least 2023... because I associated the idea from the beginning (and even more so with the arrival of the mode peq then roomfit), and the mini, with the somewhat old product from small dayton dsp-lf dedied a this use

With the PEQ and RoomFit on the mini (or pro, etc.), a very simplified Wiim Home mode for this purpose would be great.

Anyway, some thought on suggestions for a simplified modes, simplified interface , given the accumulation of functions and the complexity it has reached, would be welcome, I think... for most people.

a great exercise...
Intelligent simplification can be a nice challenge ( this and the real outcome of the projects already still....)

Thanks! I'll check out the link. Unfortunately neither the SVS nor the Polk seem to be available anymore, and based on reviews the Klipsch seems to be the worst of the bunch.
Almost got lucky with a local second-hand SB1000 but I was too late :(

Will take a look at the spreadsheet and on local secondhand sites, while still considering the WiiM Sub Pro.

No problem!

BTW, I usually use geizhals.eu (new) and hifishark.com (used) when searching for deals.
On Geizhals I was still able to find offers for both SVS SB-1000 Classic and Polk HTS-12, but can't say if the sellers will ship to your location. Klipsch R-121SW is significantly cheaper than the other two.

Good luck in your search!
