Surely something must be wrong, I have the update already within 30 minutes of the announcement 🤣

Do the smart presets work OK?
Reminds me of an (odd) question..

They seem to. Switching between presets has a slight delay which I wasn't expecting but apart from that and the fact that you can't include a volume limit in the preset they seem to work OK.

I still don't know what volume presets are 🤣

My Amp has received firmware version 5.0.711031 dated 20250317, which is a later version than originally referred to in this thread. It must have updated automatically overnight.

That explains why I seemed to be the only one to receive the original version then. Good communication as always from WiiM. I wonder what the difference is, I guess we will never know.

I received the March 18 version. Apparently this date simply indicates the download date 🤔

Was there an issue with the previously released version of the new firmware? I hadn't noticed anything that affected my use.

Hi @WiiM Team
Thx for that update! Two questions:

1. Can presets be selected with the 1, 2 , 3 and 4 key on the remote control?

2. Is it possible to define the balance (volume distribution between left and right speaker) in the presets? I did not find that option unfortunately. This is a feature that would make presets really valuable to me!

(Usecase: I have several listening positions in my room, some of them are closer to Left, some closer to Right speaker. I want to quickly switch balance with one click on the remote control.)

Thank you very much ror this great product!

1. Yes, that’s what the buttons are for.

2. Not yet, but that and other settings may come in a later update. Submit a feature request ticket to WiiM asking for this, via the more/feedback section in the WiiM home app.
