That's why you on a wiim amp Pro have RoomFit settings (they have thought about just everything you could want, need)

The one thing they haven't thought about is reducing the gain to allow positive EQ without distortion. Why don't you believe this simple fact? Some of us have been messing around with RoomFit for months not just a few days.

Think one good target curve no eq, is better then having to enable eq after a "flat" target curve
What makes you think so? I don't agree.

My speakers have 40% higher excursion than similar sized speakers and can handle 150 watt, a wiim amp PRO is not to much
The Signature 5 are still very tiny speakers and they will distort at some point, the more the higher the excursion is. And not just in the bass, but even more so in the midrange.

If you don't enable "Non-Boost Mode" (and it's not enabled according to your screenshot) there can be distortion. Not distortion of the power amp section, but much more critical distortion in the digital domain. The power amp will cleanly amplify the distorted signal, which cannot undo the distortion that already happened.

Even bigger and more expensive speakers distort (that's why big live music events have so many speakers only playing around 100-200 watt, to avoid distortion)

The challenge is, if you can hear distortion or your annoyed by it, if theres is any noticeable distortion

The harmonic distortion can be a problem at 86 db and is often alot higher at 96db

If you would have speaker that have no distortion at 96db in a big room or just with alot of bass

You would need very big floorstand speakes, alot of bookshelf speakers or very special bookshelf speakers

Use your speakers and listen to them at high levels, forget that all speakers distort at high level, if it sound good at your prefered max levels your fine, if going for super loud and distortion free you need something very special, especially if you only have room for bookshelfs speakers

The 2 jbl's do it really good but are big and expensive

My speaker can handle what power my amp has

This song on the Harman target curve is a super challenge at high volume with a wiim amp PRO
Harman target curve actually sounds like i have a subwoofer (it's not on), crazy how much bass they play at high levels but theers is some noise, port noise, distortion or both, it's also very exterme bass and loud when i notice port noise, distortion.

B&K is what i use atm

If someone what a challenge ? This song aon harman taget curve close to max power from the amp (im not finshed trying roomcorrection, haven't used my sub, yet)
