Your TV should be able to do this, I think the Amp doesn't have a chip and/or license to do this.

Bought on amazon belgium and received on december 28.

It's been 2 days since Wiim promised me a replacement and the immediate dispatch of a new amp. But since then, no news! They haven't replied to any of my messages.

First post - got a WiiM Amp and Kef LS50 Meta’s - sounds fantastic well done WiiM and appreciate all the Firmware updates. However I notice the release notes are not updated / or in sync with the versions? E.g @Brantome you posted 5.0.540148 and what’s new but on the support page those enhancements are listed under 5.0.539454 and I guess lucky me i just got an update to 5.0.603456 but don’t know what’s updated as it was an Auto update.

The second 539454 was just a typo and should have been replaced by the later version number - looks like it was just copied and pasted from the previous version and not updated. The release page often lags behind the actual release as firmware updates are rolled out to the entire estate in batches over a few days or more, so if anyone posts the "rocket" update screen, that'll more likely than not be the most recent info

Thanks very much- alright i didnt see the rocket screen, i powered on from Standby took a while for the Wiim App to connect (guess it was updating) and then checked and saw a later version

It would appear so, yes. While I did submit a ticket asking for this, I'm not sure if I've been pushed the new version earlier than others although the fact that both the ios and Android apps have been updated as well would suggest it's a public release

Edit: as updates are rolled out in batches, maybe that update wasn't yet available or pushed to your unit when you got that earlier version

Don’t think there are any betas running at the moment - room correction seems to be the next on the cards. Guess there might be a few adhoc point releases for those reporting issues However, I wouldn’t see either of them having a detailed “rocket screen” so I think what I got was a general release.

I received a special firmware regarding subwoofer noise and that’s what I was talking about. The new official released also cover that fixed.

No, I think that feature is being released next week - well different preset volumes for different inputs.
