Wiim doesn't detect my SMSL PO100 2024 (not Pro) when connected to USB

It powers the device on, but nothing showing in Audio Output. However, when I connect it to my Pc, the Po100 appears with no issues.

Trouble shooting I have done :

Power cycled Wiim Ultra Changed USB cables (4 cables used). Fully rebooted Wiim Reinstalled the app

I connected my Fiio M21 and again just charges the device. Unfortunately, my Wiim is not under warranty as it was bought used and Wiim customer support have been useless. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these issues? My RCA jacks on the line out are out of order too but that's another story.

You can only use one audio output at one time. So if you are using e.g. Coax out to a DAC you cannot simultaneously use USB as an output for a sub.
The exception is the dedicated sub out on the Ultra.

The SMSL PO100 2024 is a DDC not a DAC and it may be that the Wiim firmware has trouble recognising a DDC device.
Raise a ticket with Wiim so they can investigate/confirm

I don't know if this will help, but this was taken from Amazon.
  • Tips: If the product cannot be recognized by the computer/phone or has other problems during use, please replace the USB cable or download the firmware upgrade from the SMSL official website

You will know better than I.
So would it indeed be possible to operate two simultaneous audio outputs on the Ultra?
No. This has nothing to do with multiple output.

It's looks like a compabilty issue, as the SMSL PO100 only support UAC2, while it looks like the WiiM falls back to UAC1 although it should support the UAC2.

I will suggest @Kdot89 to raise a ticket when the SMSL PO100 is attached to let @WiiM Support inspect the log for the issue.

I see the compatibility issue but again, how is a solution going to do any good for this specific issue?
The sub will be an additional audio output with the main audio out running via another output, which you confirmed is not possible.

The issue is that the OP's SMSL is not being detected by their Ultra. You introduced sub output into the thread, no mention by the OP
I‘m admittedly confused. Why would I want a sub to be recognized if it‘s not supposed.to receive an audio signal?
Maybe I think too much.
