Have you tried moving the microphone between sweeps?

Yeah, I used this for the first time in a while.


There was a slight difference compared to the case where the camera was not moved.

I was thinking of three positions a reasonable distance apart. When I try moving microphone measurements (not the same as multiple sweep measurements) I cover the total distance between the speakers at normal listening distance.

I know. We have a pause between L and R channels where the microphone position wasn't expected to change but no pause between multiple sweeps where the position is expected to change. Unless WiiM don't expect us to move the mic and haven't understood why there was a demand for multiple sweeps.

Oh thats great Wiim team never fails to surprise as.. they should add “promise musically fullfilled” as their tag words.. i regitered in the google form, how to download it ??

If you have supplied your device MAC address , they’ll make the beta firmware available to your app once it’s actually available.

Nice new features!
@WiiM Team : Can you please add an option to only run the final check and result display after the room correction calibration?
So without doing the real calibration process?
This way you can manually check after changes are made to the room or system if the calibration is still correct.
Also checking the result after making manual changes with the custom PEQ settings for fine tuning is then possible.

@WiiM Support, there's a box set/album artwork regression in Android 3.0.8 when browsing UPnP servers.

The app now displays the artwork of the first track/container in the track listing rather than the artwork from the album listing.

I'll use the WHA to submit additional logging.

The containers (>>1952-1954, >>1954-1957, >>1957-1959) are still incorrectly ordered, but I have an outstanding ticket for that.

Regarding the artwork issue, it is preferable to use the album artwork when the container type is identified as an album.

We are currently researching the algorithm to implement multiple positions for room correction. This includes incorporating different weights for each position's room results. Please stay tuned for updates!

Hi @WiiM Team and nice to see another update!

I have a question though, is it planned to fix the Chromecast streaming issues that happen since 3.0 to the Emby app?

Before 3.0 everything was working fine and media was recognized by the Wiim App when streamed from Emby over Chromecast to Wiim.
Since 3.0 the Wiim App does not recognize that something is played, even if the music starts running.
Let me know if you need more information, I can provide a debug log over the app.

What is your WiiM product? If it's the WiiM Ultra, we will release new firmware in a few days that includes Google Cast playback enhancements for many music apps. If not, please send us feedback via the app to help us debug this issue.

Did you miss 3.0.6 and 3.0.7 then? They were just bug fixes and not announced for some reason. More importantly they have managed to remove any indication of which microphone is used for room correction. Don't they test anything before release?

The latest on iOS is 3.0.5. The new update that is being review by apple is 3.0.8. 3.0.6 and 3.0.7 did not appear on iOS update.

I use <Home Music Share> with my Synology Media Server and this works very good.
But I miss the possibility to rename presets and bookmarks.
Example: If I add the directory with 6 albums of ZZTop, the songs will be added as "All songs" to a preset or bookmark.
