Yes, must be. I asked about that in #8 but didn't get an answer.Perhaps it refers to the three animated vertical bars in front of the current playing track.

I have just checked, and they weren't there with the previous app version.Yes, must be. I asked about that in #8 but didn't get an answer.
I must have missed them in the roadmap tooYes, must be. I asked about that in #8 but didn't get an answer.
By looking at your graph, there was elevated frequency which makes them sound thick and boomy. If you got used to those and rc correct them you suddenly feel the sound lack the dynamic and punch. Thats what rc does flatten the response based on your target curve. If you did not like the outcome of rc, you could manually tweak it to your liking.Hi!
Today I bought a umik-1, connected it to an iphone and made the correction many times.
Each time, it almost completely removes the low frequencies. When I took measurements just from my phone, there was no such thing.
Does it work with LR PEQ RC or only with Stereo PEQ RC ?iOS version now available.
No, I think there's a problem. RC completely removes low frequencies. And if you do it without a microphone, then on the contrary it adds.By looking at your graph, there was elevated frequency which makes them sound thick and boomy. I just tried on stereo rc. The changes prior to this update was the inclusion of toggle to do 3 sweeps followed by evaluation just like before. I will report back on independent rc later.Does it work with LR PEQ RC or only with Stereo PEQ RC ?
Are you using with sub or just mains? I have my setup with dual sub. With the latest app so called improved rc I don’t find bass was removed or lacking. I will run them just with speakers and see if there was a problem. Will report back later. No, I think there's a problem. RC completely removes low frequencies. Obviously, this is a problem. Either in the microphone itself, or wiim is not working correctly with the microphone.
Well your screenshot shows that the bass is vastly elevated. If you like that then a reduction will sound bass light. No, I think there's a problem. RC completely removes low frequencies. And if you do it without a microphone, then on the contrary it adds.

The fact of the matter is that the screenshot does not show the truth.Well your screenshot shows that the bass is vastly elevated. If you like that then a reduction will sound bass light.
To check you can try to measure the response of your system using Room Equalisation Wizard. You can plug your UMIK mic into a PC and and compare it to the phone. The fact of the matter is that the screenshot does not show the truth.
After connecting umik-1, rc thinks that I have a lot of bass. If you take measurements with your phone, it will add it instead of subtracting it.
Therefore, either the umik microphone is lying, or wiim is not working correctly with it.
That’s what I said and accustomed to elevated bass level and now those were trimmed it sounded bass light. I was like that before rc but everyone is different.Well your screenshot shows that the bass is vastly elevated. If you like that then a reduction will sound bass light.
Is that before room correction? On acoustics, this is the frequency response
Yes.Is that before room correction?
What does it look like at the listening position?Yes.
1 meter - 1 watt
I did not take readings at the listening point. What does it look like at the listening position?
I tried both. On independent rc, it does 3 sweep on left and 3 sweep on right and 1 sweep for evaluation. On stereo, 3 sweeps plus 1 sweep on evaluation. So what’s the result? The independent rc outperform stereo by good margin. You will get greater soundstage over stereo but the bad thing it doesn’t support sub. Everyone is different but for me independent rc is what I like. Also in comparison with 1 vs 3 sweeps the later has improvement over 1. How do I know? I only listen to 5 songs that I know extremely well. I also notice on prior I used balanced control to get even sound on both left and right now it set on zero. I hope next update won’t ruin this nice balanced left and right.Does it work with LR PEQ RC or only with Stereo PEQ RC ?
