WIIM Light - I wanna to love it

After reading all the Amazon reviews and searching the forum here, I’m very hesitant about dishing out $$$ for a WIIM light. I need a new alarm clock and the WIIM Light advertises features I would really like, but I see nothing online, Nothing in the forums, nothing in the roadmap section, nothing in the bug fixes section where WIIM is making any attempt to make this product better. Or even countering the many challenges that customers have made.

Therefore, I’m gonna continue to hold off purchasing one and adding it to my new little WIIM ecosystem until I can see some progress and more positive reviews. Sorry, I really wanna love this product and would love to buy one but can’t bring myself to do so right now.

I had a WiiM Light and ended up giving it away. It had a couple of issues that WiiM never addressed -- the biggest one for me was that the clock light would auto-dim at night, but never brighten back up the next day, making the clock very difficult to read without manually using the app to turn up the brightness. Very annoying. WiiM said they were going to fix it and never did. Compared to the regular updates they do for every other product they have, the Light seems the forgotten stepchild of the family. I can see some people liking it as-is, but I got tired of waiting for updates that were never delivered. Sad, and a bit strange.
