Squeezelite/LMS on the mini please :-)
Ain’t got the capacity - it’s only got a quarter of the ram and half the number of cpu cores compared to its siblings into which they’ve jammed a lot of features already.

Use the upnpbridge plugin if you want to use the Mini with LMS :)

See people keep saying that but then they keep adding features - like room correction

since 2022...
first announced like the pro... peq 10bands...

then a little less bands "not powerful enough", and of course not possible rc...

then no more news..

then now rc mode and it seems a little comparable to other wiims..
hihi

Room correction is largely driven by the Wiim Home app and WiiM backend servers and delivers a set of PEQ values to the device. Even the support of PEQ values on the Mini was done on the back of the EQ feature it had from day one. I’m sure if WiiM could have added squeezelite to the Mini they’d have done it long before now.

History has shown us other things...

maybe just not a priority... we don't know..and there are hardly any serious people to talk to us in these circumstances...sorry

If you have mini, be happy what you got and the update you received. We all want lowest cost possible. Would be nice if you can get Lamborghini for the price of a beer?

I have no problem with that, on the contrary, and I have already said that the real success was the mini... (and that it would be nice to have a MK2...) that is not the subject for me...

Yeah, strikes me as strange that you buy the lowest device in the range, but still want it to have the features of models further up the range.

Basically, if you want a basic streamer, buy the Mini; if you want increased connectivity and more features, buy the Pro; if you want a different DAC and improved ADC input, get the Pro Plus; if you want a screen, USB, HDMI and phono input, DD5.1 etc get the Ultra… 🤷‍♂️

I have all wiim but wiim amp pro and pro plus. Once the digital 5.1 get release officially, I will use other wiim as surround sound duty. My main wiim is the ultra.

Hopefully I will get this update eventually seems to take longer every release

The Amp Pro room correction needs a version for L/R and Sub. It also needs a recommended settings for RC. There are just adjustments on there that I don't understand and have no interest in understanding.

It is available now as a beta.

That is the point.
When is this update coming to the WiiM mini?
I see the announcement here, but unfortunately I don't see it on the minis yet.
And so I'm not really happy.

I received this update on both of my Mini devices on Saturday morning in the UK, so almost two days ago.
