Just received this (one Pro and two Pro Plusses) and now I have smart presets, on the regular release channel. Hurray!

And my previous comment on this thread is now missing. Was it something I said?

Mine has just updated also. Seems to have done so successfully.

Is the Prompt Sound something new? What is it exactly?

Refresh? Do you mean update? If so, I have no app update available currently.
I mean you have to force close the app, and then reopen it. This is done differently with iOS and Android devices.

Oh, had no idea that was a requirement. Never forced closed an app on either Android or iOS in all the years I've had devices. I shall look into it. Thank you for the tip.
I'd say you've been very lucky then. And I really mean it, with not even a pinch of irony. I wish I could say the same.

Every reboot of your device (as e.g. enforced by every Android update and many Google Play system updates) have a similar effect, of course.

I'd certainly expect the feature (disabling of system sounds) to become available on more devices. No reason why it should be permanently restricted to the WiiM Ultra.

It was mentioned in the latest firmware update for the Amp as well. I don't even know what these system sounds are.

There's some sort of startup pling, I think. And I believe the devices are rather verbose when connecting vie Bluetooth (which I never use).

There used to be an annoying beep whenever a Bluetooth device connected while you were listening via another input but that was fixed quite a while ago. I just remembered that there is a beep when the amp completes booting when on WiFi but I haven't heard that since changing to ethernet 😃
