I am new to the hi-fi hobby and looking to buy my first system. For an amplifier a Rega Brio with Dali Oberon 3 speakers and pairing that with a WiiM Pro+ for streaming and the DAC.

Currently I have a turntable and 1x Sonos Play 5 and 2x Sonos Ones. With the new system I'm hoping to be able to use both the Dali speakers and the Sonos speakers with the WiiM Pro+ thrugh Airplay2.

I get conflicting results when I Google this solution so I would like to know if anybody has experience with this or insights?

Also, if I would like to play the turntable with the Sonos speakers I guess that I would have to connect it to the Wiim and not the amp?

WiiM devices currently only support one output at a time, so if you’re using Bluetooth, for example, your device can’t simultaneously deliver a signal over its digital or analogue outputs. You could however deploy a second WiiM, even a humble mini, to feed the amp, while it and the Sonos speakers are taking an airplay stream from the Pro Plus.
