It’s quite possible to add RG tags in bulk using Foobar2000. Once you have them you will wonder how you lived without them before.

Load tracks into foobar2000. Select all, right click and select RG, scan using album title or similar then write

You can add them as a batch job in dBPoweramp, I am not sure if Foobar2000 also allows that.

Foobar2000 is very good at adding replaygain tags to multi disc albums (assuming you want the same album gain for all the discs).

Yeah Foobar2000 will analyze and create the tags all in one go. I just ran my 12,000 track library and it took ~a half hour total.

For computing album replaygain foobar needs to know how to identify an album:

Preferences > Tools > ReplayGain Scanner: Album grouping pattern

Which has a default of:

%album artist% | %date% | %album%

This should work for the vast majority, unless you use additional tags to disambiguate albums e.g. Peter Gabriel's first four albums.

Foobar allows it. You can add all music files to foobar and then:

Thousands of files so that is just to much work. So I guess I'll just have to live without Replay gain then. Thank you for always helping out!

LOL. You really think you have to manually do each one? Literally you can drag your whole library across, scan the lot and it'll update for you.
