WiiM Home App v3.1.0 Update - Jan 10, 2025

Total newb here, my amp pro app is version 3.1.1. I guess thats good right?

Also, i am not given the ability to edit my presets? ( I dont get the three dots to edit)… Can only delete?
Are there new procedures for this?

The Amp Pro firmware hasn't yet been updated to support smart presets - only the Ultra currently supports them

That is the latest but as the release notes show, that doesn’t specify the availability of smart presets yet for that device. Each device has its own firmware and there’s an android and iOS version of the app, but they’re not always kept in step in terms of firmware and features although they’re do all eventually catch up (or play leap frog) with each other. Smart presets will come to the Amp Pro maybe in the next firmware release which to be honest is perhaps a little overdue.

Thx! Sounds like I’ll need to await the next updates!

I was thinking/hoping maybe the 3.1.1 release may have had an oversight or new procedural way of editing these presets since it was not mentioned in the app release notes…

So far so good, really luv’n this new toy! I do have some setup issues and lots of learning to go!!! But, thx for sure!

Bug Fixes:

1. [iOS] USB Index Fix: Resolved an issue that prevented complete music file scans.
2. [Android] Local Library Refresh Fix: Fixed the freeze issue when refreshing the local library.
3. General Fixes: Various performance improvements and bug fixes.

Note: The Replay Gain feature is not supported for local libraries on iOS, as exported audio files from iOS local libraries do not include track or album gain information.

Just got the update with Sub control in the Preset.

Now we are just needing renaming, picture update and reorder options, plus all the other options that could be useful.

Right, having just set up two presets, I feel that custom naming is now far more important than I first thought.

For Preset 1 I have my speaker set up, which is volume 75, input wi-fi, output line out (to my amp), Sub Out is on (to my sub), and EQ is set for my room and speakers.

For Preset 2 I have my Sennheiser HD600 headphones, which is volume 60, input wi-fi, output optical (to my external DAC/Headphone...

Smart Presets are next to useless unless you can custom name them.

Such threads serve as the ONLY generally accessible Changelog for the Home App (as well as an anchor for forum members to query and complain and comment..).
Currently, the only posted "What's New" for v3.1.1 is from a JPG posted by @Burnside in a post in the thread "beta-testing-wireless-dolby-5-1-for-wiim-ultra".
The "What's New" for v3.1.2 isn't posted anywhere. But as it is still available via Google Play Store (as is current version for my Android), I'll post a JPG here:
It would be great if these two WiiM Home App versions were "properly" documented in this forum...
