Usually 24 - 48hrs for me, however sometimes the issue will be dealt with during a future update.

You should get an email from them to say that they have received your feedback. If you haven't had a response and there's nothing showing as I pointed out before, you may need to submit again.

Are you on the latest app and are you feeding the Uktra a Dolby digital stream? I’d expect to see it on the Dolby digital setup page or maybe under sub settings
Latest app, latest firmware
Dolby digital stream
Nothing under sub settings
Dolby digital settings are available if other devices are grouped with ultra? I have only ultra

How does one utilize the center channel with this update? If I add another device to the group, I only see the option for L&R, L or R, but not C. ???

As this is an additional feature of Dolby 5.1, you would need to link at least two or more WiiM devices and play the Dolby Surround source on the TV connected to the lead (master) device.

@Vladetz, @kwolter,

The Ultra was tested by connecting it to the TV in the next room.

WiiM Ultra (Front speaker)
Audio Pro A10 WE (Centre speaker)
WiiM amp (Surround speakers)

When these three units are linked and a 5.1 channel source is played on Netflix, a Dolby icon appears on the WiiM app's playback screen.

You can assign a center speaker in the Dolby settings screen.

I can't find any settings for LFE anywhere, so presumably it works automatically if you connect a subwoofer.

This is audio from the center speaker.

It may sound like the audio is delayed in the video, but in reality I did not notice any delay.

I've only done some simple testing, but there doesn't seem to be any major issues. Thanks to the @WiiM Team.

Edit ;

On the device card, only surround speakers L/R and stereo playback can be switched.

In theory, the LFE could be included in a 4.0 or 5.0.setup, even if no subwoofer is present. It should only contain additional effects, which are not essential to the programme material. Main speakers may (or may not) be capable of reproducing this content, potentially also depending on level.

In practice, WiiM might have chosen to only offer this routing option if a sub is connected. I would hope (but I'm still not sure) if this point in the release notes really means we will get the option to include the LFE signal or not.

So what are the device requirements for the center channel device? Does it have to be a WiiM Amp, etc?

Since the routing of the channels is done in the WiiM Home app, it must be a "speaker" supported by WiiM Home.

In the case of @Wiimer the A10 WiiM Edition works as the center speaker.

So in my case it won’t work with an additional mini or pro hooked up to its own amplification/speaker?

Unfortunately, it is currently not possible to create a 3ch configuration including a center speaker with only two WiiM devices. To add a center speaker, three WiiM devices are required, including the surround speakers.

However, the Mini is non- Wireless Dolby 5.1 supposed and will not produce sound when included in a group.

If you have an Ultra and a Pro, you will need to add a WiiM device for the center speaker. e.g., you can add a WiiM amp and use it as a center speaker; the Pro is used as a surround speaker, but you can remove the pro from the group once you have created a 5ch group.

This is what I have tried with my system.

First create a group with three Ultra, Amp and A10 speakers to form a 5ch group. Here I have assigned the Amp to the center speaker.

Next, if the A10 is removed from the group, the Amp remains as the center speaker, resulting in a 3ch configuration.
