OT:
Just discovered this member section of the forum. It seems you are only around 70 away from pole position. While reading a lot here over the last weeks it seems to remain in the family? Anyway, they are on your heels. 😉
I feel I’ve been chasing my own tail all my life 😜🤣

Is it possible to get the update file from support so I can copy it to a flash drive and update the Ultra manually? (The network update isn’t working for me.)
Have they not stopped sending out the update? They have recently said they have identified a problem regarding plex which stops Plex working correctly.
Support has said they are working on a fix.
Can't see much point in sending out firmware that they know breaks something then send out a fix for it?
But what do I know? 😁

I believe the issue here is a regional network issue for the OP that's not allowing access to WiiM's servers so isn't a general issue as such

It’s unfortunate that you don’t see the point in this. The issue is that due to Roskomnadzor’s blocks, most Russian users are currently experiencing the same update problem. Installing a VPN on my router, or using the method I described above, may be able to resolve the situation.

Thanks, that makes more sense than Wiim sending out faulty firmware.

He only doesn't see the point of installing faulty firmware when a fixed version is being worked on. That's how I read it anyway.
