Isn’t the same thing with wiim when you run rc? I see the display 48 kHz when doing the sweep. What should be ideal in rc 44.1?

That just means the sweep track has a sample rate of 48 kHz.

Would not make any difference whatsoever. It's still the same frequencies coming out of the speakers.

It wouldn't make any difference. REW normally uses 48 kHz sweeps as well. The UMIK-1 mic is rated 24 bits @ 48kHz.

It's limited to 48 kHz when working in Dirac Live mode.

Good catch. I had only been looking at the standard 2x4 HD specs.

Identical hardware, of course, but the software makes the difference here. At least technically speaking.

I won't judge what's audible. Back in the day (and using my back then system) I already found the original 2x4 to be transparent (just pass through, no actual processing).
