WiiM Vibelink Amp

So on the front, what does it say next to the volume control?

It could just be ‘Vol’, but they’ve never done that before.

Could it be to mark a detent for full power for when used as a power amp?

Yeah, but I presume that means your sources for any and all inputs must have dedicated volume controls.
Except if they have added an analog volume control. That would allow bit perfect all the way to the Amp.

Looks to me like the volume label say "max", for use with pre-amp volume control.

There’s also a legend around the seven o’clock position as well as five o’clock, so I’d guess low/hi , 0/10 or such.

Edit: the 5th photo on the stereonet link makes it look like min/max

What’s the red launch all nukes button over the power port for? Or do we think that’s just a power toggle?
How could a push button next to the power cord be a power switch? It must be something different! 😁

Interestingly this appears to be the first WiiM device that isn't class 2 but has a proper safety ground.

The other way around : Why is the Coax labelled coax in when RCA and Optical are just labelled "in"? :P
Yup, seems strange to label the input selector but not the actual inputs. I suppose the volume control is labelled min/max in case someone thought rotating it clockwise would lower the volume 😂

You can't take anything for granted in this day and age.
