But if it is for a pc, where is the screen? Finally close enough to see what is on that tiny screen...Like a PC?![]()
Not seeing it with this product. But let's wait..

It is cheaper than the Amp Pro.I suppose that "removed streaming and wifi" means that the WiiM Home app doesn't connect to it. So, there goes EQ, room correction, bass management, etc. Just another "dumb" 2-channel amp... still curious to see what warrants the higher price than the "smart" Amp Pro.
How so? Articles said $400 USD and Amp Pro is $379.It is cheaper than the Amp Pro.
In that article I think they were converting the UK price into US Dollars. In the UK the Amp Pro is £399 and the new amp is £319.How so? Articles said $400 USD and Amp Pro is $379.
All of that will be taken care of by the WiiM device connected to the Vibelink.I suppose that "removed streaming and wifi" means that the WiiM Home app doesn't connect to it. Yep - I was holding out hope that this could be a non-streaming 2.1 preamp/amp with all the digital goodness of the WiiM Home app.All of that will be taken care of by the WiiM device connected to the Vibelink.
Okay, I'll say it. I don't like the colour.
Obviously, there may be options, and that'll be interesting. But if you're going to go to the trouble of making it look like an Ultra, you really need that black front.
Meh, I'm not a fan of the IOM Ultra either, which has the glossy black panel going all around, from the front to the back. Makes no sense because it doesn't have a screenyou really need that black front.
For all we know, that dial is just for input selection.Meh, I'm not a fan of the IOM Ultra either, which has the glossy black panel going all around, from the front to the back. Makes no sense because it doesn't have a screen
I like the plain look of the Vibelink although I would've preferred no volume knob at all. If paired with any of the WiiM devices, I suppose the volume would be controlled by the source in most cases. That would make the Vibelink's volume control redundant.
And yet there is a button next to the input text on the left...For all we know, that dial is just for input selection.

But not by WiiM, just by expert journalists. And it's stated to be an integrated amp.
I mean that button could potentially just be power. And yet there is a button next to the input text on the left...

4 ohms?So why the knob on the front?
And from article:
"It delivers 100W per channel (8Ω) and supports variable sample rates and bit depths, utilising premium components and advanced technologies to ensure high-fidelity performance. WiiM promises a “rich, pure audio experience” and has incorporated analogue and digital inputs, making it a versatile addition to any hi-fi setup."
Thinking about it. What if the volume knob is actually an analog control. That would make sense and allow bit perfect all the way for those who want it.It looks like it will duplicate the pre-amp functionality (volume control) of the other WiiMs, so what is the benefit compared to using a pure amplifier?

The article says it doesn’t have WiFi, ergo no app. It does have a remote though. That’s quite a leap. For a kick off, it might have its own app. Or a modified version of the WiiM Home app with the streaming bits missing/greyed out.
