Back arrow goes straight to the previous track

I find it very annoyng that when pressing the back arrow, it goes straight to the previous track.
It would be much better if it first went back to the start of the currently playing track and then to the previous track if pressed again.
Could this be changed ?

This has been discussed multiple times in this forum. Please make a search.

I think the conclusion is that dome people like the current implementation and others would like what you suggest.

I personally like it as it is now. Going back means going back, not start over.

Honestly a single "going back" means go to the beginning of the track.
Then if you want to go to the track before you should have to press the back one more time.
This is the standard almost everywhere.

Thanks for the reply...
I suspected it may have been discussed a fair bit already but didnt find much when i looked.
Coming from a Bluesound node to the Wiim Ultra makes it seem a bit weird how i cannot get back to the start of the current track, unless i use the slider, which to tell the truth is a bit unreliable.
Sometimes it works with a big delay, sometimes it doesnt work at all.
If the slider worked better it would help.

Yep, thanks....
Looks like i will just have to go back then forward.
I wonder how many other streamers work like this ?
Maybe they could have a single arrow for back to start and a double arrow for previous track ?
Eg < < <
Lol

I put in a support request regarding this. There is no reason wiim's audio player should behave differently than every other audio player.

Please put in a support request for a change or an option.

You like it being different than virtually every other device? What sense does that make Wiim? Maybe Wiim can add an option for the odd balls that like it the way it is, but the current implementation is abnormal.

Yes what a concept right? Other people liking something different. Should be illegal...
