Ongoing Beta Beta Test: Plex

Not sure if this is the best place to put this info/discovery but here goes...

If you play something from your Plex source in Wiim and then try and add that track to your Plex "loved tracks" what actually happens is "something" removes all tracks from your "loved tracks" playlist and then adds the now playing track as the entire content of that list. I had this happen just now and to my horror my "loved tracks" in my plex music library went from 191 tracks to 1 track :cry::cry:.

Luckily Plex does auto backups (one ran yesterday) so i was able to restore my Plex library to yesterday's backup to get all my loved tracks back on the list. This issue doesn't happen if you add tracks to "manual" Plex playlists.

I agree that an easier/better implementation might just be to get Plexamp to Cast to Wiim products natively (not via Chromecast - since I think that often results in re-sampling/down sampling and isn't gapless AFAIK).

You should raise a ticket in the app for WiiM to review.
