Ongoing Beta Beta Test: WiiM Persistent Group (WiiM Mini Updates)

Thanks but was wondering if it is included in the latest app firmware release as the link to the app update page still refers to that as a future firmware update. The link is at post 53 and the update page provides as follows:
3. Persistent Group Support: Quick multi-room audio setup and synchronization for seamless group playback (available in the next firmware update).

The app is separate from the firmware so the next device firmware update will be required.

The app release and firmware release are separate entities - while we have the latest app release, we are still awaiting the public firmware release that completes the package and will include the persistent group feature.

Edit: the firmware release announcement will no doubt include the feature list of changes.

How is the beta firmware received? I’ve filled out the form found on this thread with my MAC addresses, but the beta version of the app (through TestFlight) still has no Group functionality. I’m assuming this is because my WiiM Mini’s are still on the regular firmware?

I guess this beta is closed given initial sign up was at the start of November. We must be getting close to a public release.
