Ongoing Beta Beta Test: Simultaneous USB out and Sub out

I have the beta, I restarted the Ultra. But it works well for a while. And then the sound disappeared. I had to start things connected to the HDMI and it works for a while and then it's quiet. I had never done it before.
Same problem

I haven’t received the BETA update after the request…. Yet I’ve been having HDMI drop outs too. Currently running HDMI from TV into the Ultra, then coaxial out into my DAC (SMSL SU-1). After manual reboot of the Ultra, it’ll work, but it’s quite frustrating.

It’s ok that update is scheduled to be release on general public on the 7th assuming there’s no major issue.

Same here ..both for HDMI and Optical, this is a known bug as I shared above. Hope Wiim Team will resolve this

Hi Ashiklbrahim & Heimo666

We will reproduce the issue internally to investigate the root cause. If possible, could you kindly provide feedback through the WiiM Home app? Our engineering team will review it promptly upon receipt.

Thank you for your assistance.

With the latest update released today, 5.2.640252 and wiim app for iOS 3.08 (Android 3.07 and 3.08 the same), if I try to start a song on my Plex server, in the internal network, it doesn't start, the song becomes very slow and then the wiim seems to disconnect from the internal network. Is a fw rollback possible? Thanks and happy holidays
Solved today with beta FW ver 5.2.703454.
Thanks

Thank you for your assistance.Sure will
sure will do that.. One more thing, why my 1 VRMS with less Sinad had higher bass and clarity than 2 vrms 😁

I'm at vacation 7 weeks in south east asia at the time, so i will not be able to test it again. But I needed to factory reset and take away my dac for my wiim ultra to be able to use hdmi arc longer than 10 min.

Hi I have sent a request to be added to the beta, could you please accept.

I also applied, just in case it wont be released in time since I am getting my SMSL PO100 Pro today so will eagerly await to try this out :)

There some user are not paying attention instead straight commenting what’s already been said.
The thing here was that I had one unit on loan for 2 days and wanted this beta fw to test my setup. Unfortunately I didn't get the fw in time before returning the unit...

Currently it is working with my wiim Ultra. But I have a issue with it. I use for USB out a headphone DAC/Amp and so sub out is somehow annoying, because I need to turn off 'Sub out' when I'm on USB out and turn on again, if I would like to hear sound via my speakers which are connected on line out.

Is there an option to turn off Sub out, when I switch to USB out? That would be really appreciated if I'm able to adjust when sub out should be enabled (all but not USB out).

This should be possible with the upcoming enhancement of the Smart Preset.

Smart Preset automatically identify if the device switch to another out? It worked perfectly before. I turned on the USB-DAC and WiiM changed by itself to USB out. When I turned of the USB-DAC the device changed to Line out. With that changes I would like to have Sub out enabled/disabled as well by itself. Is that what I can expect with the smart Preset? Then I'm totally fine. :)

I don't think so.

Ok... then I need go back to an older firmware until this is also integrated. Will contact the support to rollback my firmware and will stick on this.

More helpful to the community if you submitted a bug report if indeed prior behaviour has changed
