Coming out of standby multiple times a day without an external force

Hi, I'm having an issue. I can turn the device off (using the remote, the device goes into standby mode with screen off), but it will automatically come out of standby, turn the screen on, and activate the 12v trigger without an external force. This can happen multiple times a day.

I have tried unplugging 12v trigger and USB drive, but it still happens. This has been happening for a while, but even more so after latest firmware. I have also seen a spinning wheel on the screen, which I have read indicates an update check - however, this should not be happening multiple times a day. What gives?

Are you using Alexa?

If a command to stop WiiM audio is included in the Alexa routine, WiiM will be standby on each time the routine is activated.

The s-inning wheel would suggest it’s starting up or trying to connect to your network. I’d power cycle it and your router.

@Wiimer thanks, I've checked all routines but none had the WiiM included. However, I did submit a ticket via the WiiM app and they said that notifications can trigger the WiiM to turn on! Could be it, so I've disabled all notifications.

@Burnside thanks, I've just done that too!
