Will a 100 Mbit Wiim ultra ethernet cable connection be better than 300 Mbit wifi?

No. If your wifi signal is stable, then there'd be no difference imho. And the bandwidth is largely irrelevant for audio as only about 8Mbps is need for hi res audio.

Personally I put this sort of question in the same category as coax v optical, glass v plastic etc

So if it’s in the same category then some will hear a difference, I must say I wasn’t a believer of glass vs plastic for optical but damm me I got a glass cable and heard a difference.. so perhaps the OP if it’s affordable could try a cable instead of Wi-Fi and test what they hear …
