I feel this forum is very toxic. If you don't like the idea or don't understand it - you can just melancholically pass by. Why give minuses? Just for the sake of "because I can"?
If you are against it, you should provide reasoning and explanation in the comments.
The aimi service is free, unlimited. Has pleasant background music. Unique, non-repeating melodies. If you don't like it, why minus it? Let other people try it and appreciate it. Maybe someone else likes it too.
 
If I don't want a feature request to be implemented I will vote it down. No need to explain in detail, just as nobody has to outline why he or she upvotes a request. If somebody else likes it, he or she is free to upvote. That's how it works, simple rules.

Calling this toxic is pretty silly. Implying that anybody who would vote down a request doesn't understand it is arrogant, to say the least.

Finally please remind yourself that this is not a personal thing at all. I have super brilliant ideas nobody else considers worthwhile. It happens to everyone. And even more final than finally WiiM might chose to look into suggestions at their very own discretion, irrespective of any upvote count. If they happen to like your idea ... :)

I apologize if you thought that was condescending. I meant that people put minuses without understanding the essence. Most likely 99% of negative voters don't know about this service and have never used it. That's the point I was trying to make. I was just encouraging people to be more tolerant of each other.

When I saw your request, I looked it up and decided to downvote as I thought it was a niche request and that WiiM would be better off spending their development resources elsewhere. It’s not personal, just an idea I feel isn’t important to me. WiiM would get a distorted view of the popularity of a request if people only upvoted it or ignored it.
