If I don't want a feature request to be implemented I will vote it down. No need to explain in detail, just as nobody has to outline why he or she upvotes a request. If somebody else likes it, he or she is free to upvote. That's how it works, simple rules.
Calling this toxic is pretty silly. Implying that anybody who would vote down a request doesn't understand it is arrogant, to say the least.
Finally please remind yourself that this is not a personal thing at all. I have super brilliant ideas nobody else considers worthwhile. It happens to everyone. And even more final than finally WiiM might chose to look into suggestions at their very own discretion, irrespective of any upvote count. If they happen to like your idea ...
