Right; here in the US, 87 Octane is Regular, then 89 is Plus, 91, 92, 93, 94 are Premium or Ultra.
Measured according to different standards than in Europe, though. You cannot compare the numbers directly.

When did you order?
I fear my answer might upset some folks here possibly including yourself. I will answer since you asked, but I hope my answer does not send this thread spiraling on why Amazon is not fulfilling based on order date or cause anyone to be upset with WiiM. I suspect they have no control over the situation either.

I was checking Amazon earlier this week to see what the estimated ship dates were and saw that there was 1 white left that would arrive on Saturday so I just ordered it. Sorry if that caused me to "jump the️ line" 🤷‍♂️

Hey - no worries! Please report your experience when you get it. I ordered 2 (in black) on 11/21 - one from Amazon and the second directly from the WiiM store. No shipment notice yet - I hope it will be worth the wait!!!

Vebos are a company who make stands for lots of different smart speakers, and I have a couple for my RIVA speakers, and would recommend them.

They are based in the Netherlands, so they are readily available in the EU, and they are also available in the UK, but I'm not sure about the US.

I emailed them and got a quick reply. They will not have stands for the WiiM sound until the end of January.

Iam still excited about the Wiim Sound and Sound Lite - but as much as i like these units on paper - the more i miss an integrated battery.

So i ended ordering an AudioPro A15W these days - with integrated Wiim technology + rechargeable battery. It simply makes more sense for my use case, so i can use it more non stationary, even in the garden or garage etc. (yes - a WiFi mesh is "up in the air" ).

Soundwise i dunno what unit will sound better - but the A15W was on sale so i couldn't resist.

Not such a good start…. Although it was scheduled to arrive yesterday Amazon had a delay and it did not show up until today.

Unfortunately when I plugged it in, it turns out I got unit where the power cord will NOT maintain a connection unless I hold it with a significant amount of force. I did so through the entire setup and firmware update in hopes that it would help seat it, but as soon as I put it down the power disconnects. I have played with it a bunch and could not get it to stay connected no matter what.

On the positive side, I went back to Amazon and was able to order a replacement that says it will arrive tomorrow. We’ll see.

FYI - there were two whites left that will arrive tomorrow for me. So that means there is one more left if you are interested.

Bluetooth is not a viable alternative to AirPlay, because it doesn't offer the ability to be used in multi-room playback like AirPlay does, and as that is my main use case, it has to be AirPlay.
It doesn't need to with WiiM devices though? Not that I am a big fan of Bluetooth, but only one WiiM device needs the Bluetooth signal, all group devices will then play it. I do this for audiobooks as there is no audible app

Hopefully that'll be quite unusual.
My Sound's power connection was quite (but not ridiculously) tight, but once in there's no way it'll fall out.

Agreed.
It physically stayed plugged in, but did not maintain a power connection. I was hoping I could push it in hard enough to stay, but no luck.
